This experimental, avant-garde guitar album explores the world of the Japanesque with a hitherto unknown approach, which transfers the performance techniques of Japanese instruments, such as shamisen and biwa, to the guitar. Inspired by the unique performance approaches of traditional instruments, novel melodies and harmonies emanate from the guitar. Surprisingly fresh Japanese sounds roar and vibrate in the form of audio previously unheard in Japanese music, which is often represented by the pentatonic scale, both in contemporary and traditional styles.
