2-8 What will happen to your track when its copyright protection period expires?
Under the current Japanese Copyright Law, a copyrighted work becomes a public domain (also called "PD") work when its copyright term (70 years after the author's death) expires. When this applies to one of our tracks, anyone will be able to use the track for their own purposes without our permission.
